If you’re staying in one of the jungle tents without a private pool, don’t worry — the infinity pool overlooking the ocean is a slice of paradise on its own. From there, you can walk down to the beach, where you’ll find the resort’s restaurant. The food is simply delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and served by the most caring staff.
We were also treated to a private afternoon tea near the presidential suites, in a secluded area along the sea. Picture-perfect and intimate, it’s the kind of experience that makes you feel utterly spoiled.
Adventures and Experiences
The activity center at Menjangan Dynasty Resort adds another layer of magic to the stay. You can try Balinese dance lessons, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, or — our favorite — snorkeling around Menjangan Island.
The hotel organized everything for us: equipment, boat transfer, and even a picnic lunch. The water was crystal clear, and the marine life simply mesmerizing. We swam alongside three sea turtles, vibrant coral gardens, and schools of colorful fish. Lunch was served right on the beach of Menjangan Island, with wild deer wandering freely nearby — a surreal, unforgettable experience.
